In this one-evening appliqué workshop, students will learn how to repair and customize their clothing. We will use cut pieces of fabric arranged into a design that you make yourself! The technique of appliqué can be used to add a pop of color, texture, or design to well-loved jeans, shirts, tote bags, or any other textile. Learn to appliqué using a sewing machine or by hand-stitching. Students should bring a textile or two that they would like to adorn. If you have a sewing machine, please bring it. CCA can provide a few sewing machines but not enough for everyone. No experience necessary!
